Our three large, spacious yurts each sleep up to six people in a king size bed and four single beds, whereas our small and cosy yurt, Willow, sleeps up to 4 people in a double and two 2ft 6in single beds. Each yurt benefits from its own log burner indoors, a fire pit outside, a camp kitchen and composting toilet. All bedding and bed linen provided. A short distance away a communal barn provides a great space for getting together with friends and family – with a fully equipped kitchen (and one fridge per yurt), enormous dining table and squishy sofas for lounging around the log burner. Next door are the private bathrooms, one per yurt, stylishly created from reclaimed materials including pallet wood and corrugated iron, with flushing toilets and hot showers. You may be lucky enough to spot the resident barn owls or borrow some bat detectors to listen to bats. The yurts are arranged around a large field, perfect for ball games, adjacent to a meadow and hillside that is gradually being re-wilded. Close to lovely walks, village pubs and the attractions of Devon (and Somerset) including the beaches of East Devon, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Exeter, Honiton, Tiverton and more.
